SINGING
Sarah Freia is a trained lyric Soprano (A3-C6)
She is a proficient singer in the styles of Pop, Classical, Musical Theatre, Indie, and Opera.
Sarah has studied classical vocal technique since early childhood, both through private coaching, and being a part of the prestigious Principal Chorus of the CCOC (Canadian Children’s Opera Company). As a result, she has a lot of experience performing with the Canadian Opera Company, with orchestras (at venues such as Roy Thompson Hall or Sony Centre for the Performing Arts), and with various film and stage projects.
Sarah continues to take bi-weekly vocal lessons today. She has sung professionally at many events, concerts, and in musical theatre shows. A recent favourite includes being invited to sing “When You Believe” at The Great Hall in Toronto, at a holiday event in Toronto that got attention from local MPs and even the Prime Minister of Canada.
